New Life Bap­tist Church exists to pre­serve and pro­claim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed in Scrip­ture, for the glory of God through the delight of all peoples.

Accord­ing to the Bible, church is not where we go; it is who we are.  At New Life, we under­stand that God has called us to be the church – a healthy local church com­prised of men and women who love Jesus and want oth­ers to know and love him as well.

So what does this mean in prac­tice?  It means we gather each week for cor­po­rate wor­ship to hear God’s Word preached, to glo­rify his name through song, and to build one another up.  It means we gather reg­u­larly in small groups to study the Bible, pray together, and invite oth­ers to be a part of our church.  And it means that we scat­ter to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to our fam­i­lies, cowork­ers, class­mates, friends, and neighbors.

Many Chris­tians believe the term “mis­sion­ary” only applies to a per­son who goes over­seas to take the mes­sage of Jesus to peo­ple who speak a dif­fer­ent lan­guage.  At New Life, our desire is for all believ­ers to see them­selves as mis­sion­ar­ies wher­ever they are – in the home, work­place, class­room, or community.

As a result, every­thing we do is geared toward help­ing men and women become mature dis­ci­ples of Jesus Christ whose desire is to make more mature dis­ci­ples of Jesus.  We hope to do this by pre­serv­ing and pro­claim­ing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as revealed in Scrip­ture, for the glory of God through the delight of all peo­ples.  If you are cap­tured by that vision, we hope that you will join with us as we pray and work to spread the mes­sage of new life.
