Jason grew up in the small town of Mabank, Texas. He grad­u­ated from Texas A&M in 1998 and at the same time was blessed to marry Ash­ley. After liv­ing in Dal­las for nearly 2 years Jason and Ash­ley moved back to Col­lege Sta­tion so Jason could attend grad­u­ate school. He com­pleted a Mas­ter of Archi­tec­ture degree in 2002, and felt that the Lord was lead­ing them to keep the B/CS area as home. A licensed archi­tect, Jason prac­tices in Bryan at Jim Sin­gle­ton Architects.

The Kin­nards joined Liv­ing Hope soon after, where Jason served as a dea­con and HOPE group leader until they sensed that God was call­ing them to be a part of Liv­ing Hope’s Col­lege Sta­tion church plant. Jason and Ash­ley are the joy­ful par­ents of Sam, Rylee and Weston.

Jason is pas­sion­ate about dis­ci­ple­ship, men­tor­ing, and equip­ping men to be pur­suers of Christ. He enjoys time with his fam­ily, sport­ing activ­i­ties, and reading.
