Missions and Church Planting
New Life is actively involved in missions and church planting in our community, state, nation, and world.
Below you will find a list of organizations and individuals with whom we partner, the reason for our affiliation, and a little about how we support them.
Acts 29 Network
Acts 29 is a trans-denominational peer-to-peer network of Christian, evangelical, missional, reformed pastors and churches. Our pastors benefit from coaching, mentoring, and peer-to-peer friendships with other leaders. Additionally, we have the privilege of working alongside other like-minded churches to plant healthy churches in our community, state, nation, and world.
Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program
Contrary to popular belief, the Southern Baptist Convention is not a denomination, but an association of free confessing churches. New Life willingly and freely partners with the SBC Cooperative Program, which provides financial, administrative, and ongoing spiritual support to missionaries in North America and the world.
Brazos Valley Church Planters Network
The Brazos Valley Church Planters Network (BVCPN) was launched in July 2009 by our preaching pastor, Allen Duty, and Justin Hyde, lead pastor of Christ Church Brenham. The vision of the BVCPN is to connect, resource, and encourage church planters in central Texas through friendship, regular meetings, and events.
Creath Brazos Baptist Association
The Creath Brazos Baptist Association (CBBA) is an association of Baptist churches from Madison, Brazos, Grimes, Waller, and Leon counties. We participate in the CBBA by donating to the Acts 1:8 fund, which helps smaller churches obtain funding for short-term mission trips.
Aaron and Heather Hendrick
Aaron and Heather were among New Life’s first members, and Aaron served as the worship leader until August 2010, when they moved their family of 6 to Port-au-Prince, Haiti.
